Twitching by Default

A beautiful morning in Narooma - perfect for a walk to Forsters Bay, Narooma Surf Beach and Glasshouse Rocks (for Barbara at least).

Forsters Bay...

Wagonga Inlet...

Someone with a good imagination at the northern end of the Narooma Surf Beach...

Glasshouse Rocks - southern end of Narooma Surf Beach...

We both walked the Mill Bay Boardwalk to Bar Beach in the afternoon. Tourist brochures said that sting rays are often spotted from the Boardwalk - we thought we were out of luck until we spotted two on the way back as well a seal. After leaving the Boardwalk we saw many different types of birds on our way back to the motorhome.

The Boardwalk...

Bar Beach...

Wagonga Head...

Royal Spoonbill...

White Faced Heron...

Eastern Great Egret...

Pelicans...

Pied Oystercatchers...

Also spotted were black swans, galahs, sulphur crested cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets, willy wagtails and the ubiquitous seagulls.
