We normally pass through Uralla without looking around, but this time we did. We'll be back as we only just scratched the surface of this lovely small town. The autumn leaves had started to turn and the old buildings in and nearby town were full of character.
A foggy Uralla morning ...
Vibrant autumn colour ...
Characterful buildings ...
The ivy draped chapel at Goswyck ...
The magnificent elm avenues at Goswyck were a month shy of their maximum glory where the road is carpeted in yellow ...
The impressive Deeargee Station octagonal woolshed (built 1872) ...
After quick lunch stop at Coonabarabran where we ate in the motorhome (not wanting to share with the guardian geese), we headed to Cargo for a birthday dinner with Christine's uncle.
We have no pictures to share from today but send a big thank you to Melena and Ginevra for our Canberra lunch.
Originally we were going on to Jindabyne but adverse weather reports called for a quick rethink and we decided to reverse our trip order and headed for Tumut.
We are in serious touring and photo mode from tomorrow.

Fantastic images! It's wonderful to 'be with you' on your travels. Thanks so much.
